The dust bowl happen in the 1930s . It was basically a series of major dust storms that swept mostly central america as shown the map above.
It was caused by drought and failure of the farmers to use the dry land farming method , which restricted winds. It left a lot of damage destroying crops leaving people and animals to starve.
